Genetic Services
Genetic Management of Production Units
Through an advanced genetic management system and state-of-the-art technological tools, the Genetic Services team assist the production units of our customers that use the Agroceres PIC Genetic Updating Programs ( PICTraq ), making it possible to disseminate the best genes, maximizing the performance potential of the animals.
- Monitoring the genetic value of the animals, through the provision of genetic reports of the herd, to ensure the maximum level of performance for the entire production system;
- Genetic management of GPs, performed through the PICTraq program, which provides information for insemination and disposal of females;
- Technical visits to identify opportunities and optimize the flow of superior genes in commercial systems;
- Training of the production team for checking, validation of procedures and genetic management performed in the daily activities of the production units;
- Evaluation, validation and support for the implementation of applied technologies in gene dissemination, including solutions for Piglet Production Units and Artificial Insemination Plants.
